This programme is designed to provide a training medium to professional
investigators and others who are involved in the investigation of
offences and the detection and prevention of crime.
The objective is to enable investigators
to have an understanding and be competent in the correct law application
and procedures when investigating offences.
Students are guided through a scenario where a retail theft has taken
place and the principles of investigative procedures must be applied
to progress through the programme. The student plays the part of the
investigator within the scenario presented.
